� The product is aluminium composite panel. Broadly there are two types of Aluminium composite panel (ACP). The first type is regular ACP and the second type is FR (fire retardant) –ACP.

� The use of regular aluminium composite panel in building construction is restricted to a limited height of the buildings. With trend in growing number of towers, demand of fire resistant type of ACP is increasing. The proposed plant can produce both types of panels; regular and FR (fire resistant). However, the project has been assessed based on FR type of ACP.

� They are used mainly in the cladding of the outer walls of buildings as an alternate to traditional blocks, cement plaster, marble, glass and other materials.

� They are as well used in other applications such as balconies, column covers, store fronts, sign boards, etc.

� Internally the panels can be used to cover and decorate isolating walls, ceilings, as decorative panels, exhibition tables, furniture, etc.
